The SHEILA project team was busy during the last few days at the 8th International Conference on Learning Analytics and Knowledge (LAK18) in Sydney, Australia. The team conducted a workshop, presented a poster and a full paper.
The Workshop
On Tuesday, March 6 2018, the SHEILA team successfully held a project workshop about developing an evidence-based institutional learning analytics policy. Apart from the presentation of project results, workshop participants also contributed their own experiences about related issues. The slides from the workshop are available on slideshare.

The Poster
Next to the workshop, Yi-Shan Tsai and Maren Scheffel also presented a poster about the SHEILA framework during the conference. A PDF version of the poster is available here.

The Paper
Finally, on Thursday, Yi-Shan Tsai and Pedro Moreno presented the full research paper “SHEILA Policy Framework: Informing Institutional Strategies and Policy Processes of Learning Analytics”. The paper was also nominated for the conference’s best full research paper award.
